Then, as I grew older I found things I was really interested in. Old post cards. Old eye glasses. Books. Vintage clothing. Advertising. I couldn't stop thinking about the people who used these things. Who typed on the typewriter? How many letters or news stories or school assignments has that typewriter seen? Who wore these glasses? What woman wore this jewelry? Was it a gift? Did she wear it on special occasions?
I was hooked. These things with character that have lived a long life bring me comfort and bring a special beauty to my home.
So, tell me, what do you collect?
Flow blue china?
Old tins?
I look forward to hearing from you!

I have a "page" dedicated to "inside my garden" which might give you some tips. Keep gardening, and posting your photos.
By the way, my husband and I collect old buildings and junk with which to fill them.
